I Sent an Email to a Wrong Person in Gmail. How I Stop that?
Sometimes you send a message to someone and immediately notices a mistake or forgot to attach a file or wrong email address. Did you ever experienced this kinda situation? Obviously Yes! 🙁
What will you do if you face any of the above situation? Nothing, just regretting. No, wake-up, you are probably not out of luck.
In Gmail there is cool hidden feature to undo sent mail in gmail. To get this UNDO option while you press SEND button you need to enable that. If you enable this option Gmail will hold your send message for 5 seconds, that is only 5 seconds for you to recall your memory and hit the undo button. Its simple, Let’s go through that.
1. Login to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the Gear icon on the top right then select Settings.
3. Now Open Labs( see screenshot)
4.Type Undo in the search box and you can see an Undo Sent feature, just hit on Enable and Save changes. That’s all.
Now Google will give you 5 seconds to rethink after sending mail.
